Bachelor of Science in Emergency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Surgery (BSc, EOGS)

An Emergency Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Surgery (BSc,EOGS) for Associate Clinician is a healthcare professional who is trained and licensed to practice medicine under their own license and does not have to work under a medical doctor’ license. However, the EOGS must have a formal relationship on file with a collaborative medical doctor as supervisor. A medical doctor for supervision can be given in person, by telecommunication systems, or by other reliable means.

These Associate Clinicians must be differentiated from clinical officers who perform basic clinical tasks, mostly in outpatient care, with limited postsecondary education under the direct supervision of medical doctors and must be licensed under a medical doctor. The BSc programme in EOS is a degree programme.
